Person Specification
- Commercial experience
- Hands on approach
- Change agent within the business – strong character to make and implement
changes
- Build relationships both internally and externally
- Computer literate – ideally CAD expertise
- Perseverance and attention to detail is very important
- Strong organisational skills
- Understanding of quality control and methods for Continuous Improvement
- Enthusiastic
- Clean driving license as visits to other sites and customer facilities are likely to be
required
- Manufacturing background

Cold Heading Tool Design Engineer
Role:
· Reporting to the Engineering Design Manager, the role includes the design and drawing (using Autocad lt 2009) of cold heading tools.
· Applicants would need several years experience of designing tools for a wide range of heading machines used to manufacturing both standard and special fasteners.
· Also included in the role is the design and drawing of jigs, fixtures and gauges etc used across heading, secondary and thread rolling operations.
· The role will start as day shift but could be shiftwork temporarily or on a permanent basis.
· Starting salary is negotiable depending on experience.
